The Haar Crew went through their CCTS (Combat Crew Training School) with the 32nd CCTS at Davis-Monthan Air Field in Tucson, Arizona. They were among the first crews transferred into the 492nd in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on 5 Jan 44.

Shortly after arriving to the 492nd at Alamogordo, two of the crewmen asked to be reassigned to ground duties. Not everyone is cut out to be be a flyboy. Their request was granted. We don't know where they went.
